3) Completed Special skills training to be awarded the Certificate of Special Skills in Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery by The Royal College of Obstetricians and gynaecologists, London .
4) Invited as an expert in endoscopy alongwith five other world experts to share the clinical experience with bipolar technology in hysteroscopic surgery at the international society for gynaecologic endoscopy, Stockholm, Sweden, September 1999 .
5) Invited to write chapters in Shaw’s textbook of Gynaecology and the Oxford handbook for Emergencies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology .
6) Wrote four chapters in the Oxford press publication of “Emergencies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology” .
7) Stood first in the fiercely competitive interviews of North as well as South London for the post of Senior Registrar .
8) Awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK .
9) Entered the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register of London to become eligible for a consultant post in UK .
10) Developed surgical skills training course for trainee doctors in UK .
11) This course was subsequently made mandatory for all trainees in UK. It became a preliminary requirement for all trainees to attend this course without which they cannot progress further in their career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology .
12) Nominated by the Royal College to be in-charge of the surgical skills training programme at the RCOG, London .
13) First Indian doctor to be made a Convenor at the Royal College, London, even before being appointed as a consultant in UK .

20) Nominated to develop the endoscopic and open surgical skills training programme at the Welsh Institute for Minimal Access Therapy (WIMAT) and the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, UK.
21) Conducted training courses for doctors in London, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. These courses provided help to pass qualifying exams to enter UK and also provided career guidance .
22) Appointed as a Specialist Consultant in Endoscopic surgery by Hinduja hospital, Mumbai in year 2001 .
23) Appointed as a Specialist Consultant in Endoscopic surgery by Hiranandani hospital, Mumbai in year 2007 .
24) Established one of the largest Fertility and Endoscopic Surgery Centre in India at Thane, near Mumbai. This centre is called ‘THE ORIGIN INTERNATIONAL FERTILITY CENTRE’ and has the state of the art facilities with world-class equipment for patient care and training and teaching .
25) This centre has the vision of developing a network of such world-class facilities across India to improve women’s health. This mission of developing women’s health centres across India has started .
26) The Origin Centre is in the process of developing a training programme in endoscopy, fertility, ultrasound and surgical skills in India, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and Hongkong. This will be directly headed by Dr Sandeep Mane in association with the Royal College, London .
27) Awarded the “BHARAT JYOTI AWARD” in May 2008 at New Delhi .
