Dr. Ravindra Ramadwar is a distinguished Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at the Paediatric Surgery Department of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. With an impressive academic background and extensive surgical experience, Dr. Ramadwar is recognized for his contributions to paediatric surgery both in India and internationally.
Dr. Ramadwar completed his MBBS and MS, followed by a DNB in General Surgery. He then pursued an M.Ch. and DNB in Paediatric Surgery, further advancing his expertise with an FRCS in Paediatric Surgery from the UK. His dedication to his field has led him to work at several leading hospitals across Mumbai, where he continues to make significant impacts.
His surgical expertise is particularly notable in areas such as laparoscopic surgery, hypospadias repair, neonatal surgery, paediatric urology, and oncosurgery. Dr. Ramadwar has pioneered numerous surgical procedures in India, including retroperitoneoscopic pyeloplasty in infants, total laparoscopic management of choledochal cysts, laparoscopic cortical sparing adrenalectomy, thoracoscopic lobectomy in neonates, laparoscopic oesophageal replacement, and SILS procedures such as laparoscopic fundoplication and liver cyst excision.
